Dear Marching Band and Auxiliary (MBA) Musicians and Families, Northgate High School would like to officially welcome everyone to our 2026 season! We are a vital part of the Northgate Broncos’ spirit and can't wait to see you this season at Band Camp!

MBA is a great way to have fun, make friends, play music and represent Northgate.

We are excited to re-introduce DRUM LINE. This group of percussionists and friends meet on Tuesdays to practice a separate competition piece. All percussionists are strongly encouraged to give it a try.

Our 2026 season includes: 

7 Full week days of MBA Camp Starting MONDAY, July 27th and ending on TUESDAY, August 4th. 

Camp location: Northgate High School, 8-4pm each day. Early morning the first day, showcase the last evening. Fun each day.

Weekly practices after school from August to mid November, Thursdays 3:30-6:00pm and some Tuesdays

Ice Cream Social at Walnut Acres, Bancroft, and Valle Verde Elementary Schools

“March-A-Thon”: Northgate Music Program’s largest fundraiser - a march through the Northgate neighborhood

Annual “Battle of the Bands” at Concord High School

3 Fun Parade Competitions: 

• Pitman Band Review - Antioch, CA 9/26/26
• Santa Cruz Band Review - Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk 10/17/26
• Foothill Band Review - Pleasanton, CA 10/24/26
